Willis Island

We have recently returned from one of our more complex and unusual jobs being the air conditioner change over at the Willis Island weather station facility.

Willis Island is located 450km east of Cairns which takes roughly 30hrs by boat to get there. There was extensive preparation and planning for this extremely remote job but everything went smoothly and as to plan.

We decommissioned and demolished two Daikin VRV systems consisting of 16 evaporators and 4 condensers. To be loaded back onto the tug and shipped back to Cairns.

All new evaporators, controllers, condensers & central controllers were installed as per existing.

Like to thank everyone involved especially the 3 lads that were game enough to spend 30 hours on a boat in rough seas to get out there.
