We are looking for staff who are flexible to travel and work away from home at a variety of worksites nationally. Above award wages, penalties and living away from home allowance where applicable. Relocation by negotiation.

Far North Fabrication Pty Ltd with a fixed base of operation in Cairns, is a family owned and operated Australian fabrication, ship repair and boat building business specialising in the construction, refit and maintenance of vessels for Defence, Commercial and Private sectors. Due to higher demand, we are seeking to recruit specialised skill sets for delivery of service and products into the Maritime industry.

Must have construction industry safety induction white card. Experience in the maritime industry, confined spaces, EWP and W@H’s training also an advantage.
Position and rates are negotiable based on skill sets and experience, must be willing to perform overtime. These positions can lead to permanent work for the right people with ongoing skills training.

What you need:
Proactive approach to safety in the workplace. A team player with a professional work ethic, taking pride in quality of workmanship. Relevant trade experience. Ability to read and understand technical documents and drawings. Flexibility to work away from home when required on an agreed roster.
