SHOP JOURNAL

The last two weeks have been hectic. Multiple key production staff members on leave. This has forced me to jump on the floor to keep things moving.

It's been a huge challenge to manage my current workload alongside the production floor too. Nonetheless, the work gets done and everything is still moving smoothly. There may be slight delays, but nothing major.

It's incredibly helpful that our office crew works like a machine processing anything that comes our way. All i need to worry about is ensuring jobs are being completed.

It's been busy, but it has allowed me to see how the shop floor is operating, its bottle necks and workflows.

This has been a great opportunity to put myself in the boots of my production team.
