How do we do a whole house in one day? 🏠

Everyone on the crew has one job, and it all happens at once. While the old system comes out, the new ducts are going in, the sparky is on the switchboard and our refrigeration mechanic is on the pipework.

Another ducted install wrapped up in Canberra ❄️🔥

Old system out, new fan coil unit up in the roof space, insulated ducting run to every room and an AirTouch 5 controller so the whole house can be run from the phone. One system heating and cooling the entire home, and another happy Canberra family.

Job diary, part 3: the result ✅

Three split systems and a gas ducted heater, replaced by one Panasonic 16 kW ducted system with AirTouch. Cheaper to run now it's all electric, one system to look after instead of four, and five zones each with their own temperature sensor.

We asked Brendan from Renewed Electrical why it matters: cables sized properly, the house's max demand checked, and a new system that doesn't overload the switchboard or trip the circuit.

His tip: always use a licensed electrician, and don't be shy about asking to see the licence.
