We were all set to carry out some plastering repairs at this property, but things came to an abrupt halt when we uncovered termite damage beneath the surface. 🐜

Unfortunately, this sort of discovery isn’t uncommon - and it highlights just how important it is to properly inspect and address structural issues before any finishing work goes ahead.

For now, this section of the job is on pause until pest and structural repairs are sorted.

We removed the old ceiling, took out the existing insulation, removed the old ceiling battens and installed new battens, and finished it off with new 10mm plasterboard. A clean, smooth ceiling ready for painting👌🏽
