As renewable energy development progresses across the region, we know communities have important questions.

Congratulations to Darling Downs Environment Council for putting together a fantastic new resource:
Our Region, Our Energy Future – a practical, evidence-based booklet that addresses common topics such as:
• Planning and approvals
• Community consultation and social impact
• Co-existence with agriculture
• Landscape and site design
• Wildlife and vegetation considerations
• Community benefit agreements
• End-of-life and decommissioning

The guide is designed to support balanced, informed discussions between communities, developers, and decision-makers.

This short video offers a glimpse of the early construction stage at Lotus Creek Wind Farm - from careful site preparation to the teamwork that makes it possible.

It’s great to see local crews and partners working together on the ground, and we’re proud to see this Australian development project moving ahead with Zenviron as our construction partner.

We’ve received the outcome of our EPBC Referral. As anticipated, the project has been deemed a ‘controlled action’ under the EPBC Act. This means it will proceed through a formal assessment process, including the preparation of a Public Environment Report.

We’d like to thank everyone who provided comments during the initial public consultation stage. We’ll continue to share updates as we move into the next phase and work to develop a project that’s both environmentally responsible and regionally beneficial.
