PJ Welding Pty Ltd is a well-established fabrication and mining maintenance company based in Cardiff. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Boilermaker to join our team.

This is a hands-on role working in both our workshop and on mine sites, offering a variety of fabrication, repair and maintenance work. If you take pride in producing quality work, enjoy being part of a supportive team and have a strong safety focus, we’d love to hear from you.

About the Role

* Fabrication and welding of heavy mining equipment and components
* Repairs and maintenance of mobile and fixed plant
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
* Workshop and site-based work as required
* Maintaining a safe, clean and organised work environment
* Producing high-quality workmanship while meeting project deadlines

What We’re Looking For

* Trade qualified Boilermaker
* Current Driver’s Licence
* Strong MIG, Stick and Flux Core welding skills
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Commitment to workplace safety
* Reliable, punctual and able to work both independently and as part of a team
* High attention to detail and pride in your work

Trade Assistant – Full Time 👷‍♂️👷‍♀️

Workshop + Site Work | Full-Time | Start ASAP

Sick of boring jobs? Want to work with your hands, learn real skills, and be part of a solid crew? We’re on the hunt for a Trade Assistant to join our team and get stuck into both workshop and on-site work.

No two days are the same – one day you’re in the workshop, the next you’re out on site getting things done 💪

What You’ll Be Doing 🛠️
• Assisting qualified tradespeople (and learning off the best 😉)
• Using hand tools and basic equipment
• Prepping jobs, materials, and work areas
• Loading, unloading, lifting, shifting (yes, it’s hands-on!)
• Helping keep the workshop and sites clean and safe
• General labouring and trade support duties

What We’re Looking For ✅
• A good attitude and strong work ethic (experience is a bonus, not a must)
• Willingness to learn and have a crack
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
• Physically fit and happy with manual work
• MR Driver’s licence 🚛
• White Card (or willing to get one)
