Keeping tools clean before resin cures can save a lot of workshop time. Trojan Acetone is useful for thinning polyester resin, cleaning uncured resin from tools, dissolving two-part epoxy or superglue before it hardens, and degreasing metal before painting. It is a volatile solvent—always consult the SDS, work in a well-ventilated area, wear suitable PPE and dispose of chemicals according to local council requirements.

Restoring or reinforcing a timber boat? Trojan’s Dynel Cloth is a strong yet supple plain-weave fabric with high abrasion resistance and no irritating fibres. At 105 g/m² and 1000 mm wide, it is especially suited to quality wooden-boat restoration. Because Dynel swells in resin, vacuum bagging or pressure moulding is recommended for best results.
