It all started here. 💙

In the mid-1980s, a new industry was beginning to take shape in Tasmania. Young Atlantic salmon were raised in freshwater hatcheries before being transferred to sea, marking an important first step in the state’s salmon farming story.
Tassal was part of those pioneering years, with Dover playing an important role in our early salmon farming operations

Four decades later, we’re proud to look back at where our story began and the journey that has shaped Tassal Salmon today.

Great to have you visit us at Mitchell Plastic Welding Shane Broad MP, and show you a little more of what we do.

We really appreciated you taking the time to look around and for some great conversations around aquaculture, Tasmanian projects, plastic manufacturing and local employment.

Our team recently completed the fabrication of a set of custom HDPE Blackwater, Grey Water and Potable Water tanks for a catamaran under construction.

Designed to suit the client's requirements, the project also included potable water compliance for the drinking water tank.

From one-off fabrications to large-scale industrial projects, we work closely with our clients to deliver practical HDPE solutions tailored to their requirements.

If you have a project you'd like to discuss, we'd be happy to help.
