🔥 CRAFTSMEN AT WORK 🔥

There’s welding… and then there’s craftsmanship.

The crew recently turned their skills to something for our own workshop: designing and building our new Gold City Welding sign completely from scratch.

From the original CAD drawing to cutting, fabrication and welding, the raised lettering and final finish; every part was created by our team, right here in the workshop.

These are the skills, precision and attention to detail our team brings to every job that comes through the workshop.

Some jobs take a little more muscle than others!

When a semi trailer comes into the workshop seriously bent out of shape, it takes skill, patience and plenty of know-how to get it back where it needs to be.

Here’s a little glimpse of Dan working his magic - straightening steel, repairing the damage and bringing this trailer back to life.

This week, we proudly handed over this custom
built winners’ podium to Jeff and Erin from the Charters Towers Motorcycle Club Inc.

Local clubs form the backbone of the community, serving with countless volunteer hours to provide sporting and recreation opportunities for us all.

Thank you for all that you do and we hope our donated podium serves your club well.

Tyson is our go-to all-rounder and a trade-qualified mechanic. Whether he’s working on machinery, helping out in the workshop or jumping in wherever he’s needed, he’s always happy to get the job done.

Getting in touch with our arty side… 🎨🔧

We’d like to give a big shout-out to Earl for this fantastic painting of the Charters Towers CBD, created especially for Gold City Welding.

It now has pride of place in our office entry and has already sparked plenty of conversations.
