Well after a quick stop to fitout a gaming room in Rockhampton last week this week we have started on the lastest refurbishment in Mackay. Magpies sports club. Working ,for one of our main clients Eurofurn and BSPN architects this project is being done under the watchful eye of Woolans construction. This project shall run now for several months and we are really looking forward to seeing what this amazing project will look like once completed

So I want to share a little bit of a background on how Faass Projects started,
Originally we started back in our home land of New Zealand, the man i looked up to was none other than my Uncle , he was an incredible builder , no bs just a hard working Tradesman.
I left school and Originally wanted to be a police officer but unfortunately at that stage the intake officer laughed at me and said I was to little and had very little life experience. So the second option was following in the family foot steps. The building industry starting off in a joinery shop while also working with my Uncle building. Over time I finally passed my apprenticeship and skipping through the years I finally ended up with Faass shopfitting and Joinery installations.
Which moving to Australia has now moved on and grown to become Faass Projects.
Nothing has changed but the name. Everything else has stayed exactly as I was originally taught.
I will always be grateful and I owe alot to the man who taught me. His knowledge, his wisdom and most of all his love for the trade. His laughter on site and his little practical jokes were always what made the jobs alot more fun to work on. His finishes were second to none and he had an exceptional eye for detail. He always told me you have to love what you do.
So on every job large or small we at Faass projects go to great lenghts to make sure that our high standards are always met and end with satisfied clients.

Was working alongside another builder several years ago and recently found this photo of the view. The summers were amazing but the winters were bitterly cold. The snow on the mountains in the distance in the winter was absolutely breathtaking. Not far from a small town named Geraldine.
