Job Title: Experienced Receptionist – Mechanical Workshop
Location: Clarence Town
Employment Type: Full-Time / Monday – Friday / 8.30am – 5pm
We are seeking a highly capable and experienced Receptionist to join our busy mechanical workshop. This is not an entry-level role—prior experience in a similar environment and strong administrative capability are essential.
About the Role
You will be the first point of contact for customers while supporting the day-to-day administrative operations of the workshop. This role requires strong organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage front desk operations and customer enquiries (in person, phone, and email)
• Schedule bookings and coordinate workshop workflow
• Prepare invoices, process payments, and manage accounts-related tasks
• Maintain accurate customer and job records
• Liaise with technicians and management to ensure smooth job flow
• General administrative duties and office support
Skills & Experience Required
• Proven experience in a similar receptionist/admin role
• Strong working knowledge of MYOB
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Experience with Mechanic Desk (highly regarded)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
