This week, our chassis member, Ben Green, ran a technical workshop focusing on improving our CAD skills. The workshop focused on our utilization of 3D modelling programs such as Solidworks as well as optimisation of components that go into our bikes and trikes. Ben also guided the team with modelling part of a bike chassis using weldments.

These technical sessions enable seamless integration of our vehicle subsystems by equipping all team members with the foundational knowledge needed to understand the work of other sub-teams.

Last Saturday, our team raced our trike in the second round of the Victorian HPV Series at Casey Fields. We faced a minor setback with a tyre puncture at the beginning of the race, however our team worked quickly to get back up and running and didn’t let it slow us down for long.

With determination and teamwork, we powered through to complete a total of 85 laps.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support us, and an especially big shoutout to our incredible riders for their endurance, resilience, and effort throughout the race.
