Independently destructively tested and engineered in Australia, it provides a fully compliant R3-rated finish while saving time on site and maintaining the integrity of the build.

Double brick with no cavity, over a garage door. That's a lot of wall for one lintel to carry.

The Smart™ T-Bar Lintel is fully welded, so its strength doesn't rely on composite action with the brickwork. Hot dip galvanised to AS/NZS 4680:2006, with an R3 durability rating to AS/NZS 2699:2002. Five stock lengths from 2700mm to 3900mm.

LIGHT ENOUGH TO LIFT. RATED TO CARRY.

A concrete lintel means two people, or waiting on the machine. The brickwork stops while you sort it out.

The Smart Lintel in galvanised steel, 150mm x 100mm x 6mm, weighs 10.53 kg per metre. A 2100mm length is around 22kg, so one person can set it and keep laying.

The double rib is what does the work. It stiffens a 6mm section so you get the span without the weight of concrete or brick.

At a 2100mm span it carries 945 kg per metre uniformly distributed, or a 1050 kg point load. Hot dip galvanised to AS/NZS 4680:2006, R3 durability, meeting AS/NZS 2699:2002. Australian designed and manufactured.

Seven stock lengths from 2100mm to 4000mm. Free local pickup (Morningside), or delivered in 1 to 5 working days.

The Smart Galvanised Steel Angle in 150mm x 100mm x 10mm comes in fifteen stock lengths, from 1800mm through to 6000mm. Order the opening you have and it goes straight in.

At 10mm it is thicker and stronger than a standard 6mm angle, and far lighter to handle on site than a concrete or brick lintel. Flat rolled with no ribs, so it sits clean against the brickwork.

Hot dip galvanised with a 600 g/m² zinc coating to AS/NZS 4680:2006, R3 durability, meeting AS/NZS 2699:2002.
