7 year old house with a leaking linear shower, and a very good reason why you should keep the Defect limit to 1%. The purchasers put down 3%($32000) the quote to fix was $20000 which is under the defect limit, so the purchaser is going to have to wear the cost of the repair. If he had put 1% he could have either renegotiated the contract or pulled out all together.
