The next Biblical Creation Video presentation is on Sunday the 30th of August at 5pm titled LightSpeed - A Journey of Discovery to be held at the Peninsula Presbyterian Church Hall, 18A Hawthorne St, Woody Point.

We have been told that the speed of light is a constant and does not change in the vacuum of space. Yet there are many factors that are known to affect light speed - density of the medium, gravity and in special cases, magnetic fields. Is the vacuum of space actually nothing?

In this presentation, PhD physicist Dr Barry Setterfield examines the possibility that the speed of light is not a constant, now nor in the past. He discusses his theories which have implications for distant starlight and radiometric dating.

The next Creation Presentation is being held on Sunday 28th June at 5pm. This month will not be a video but rather a live presentation by Creation Ministries International Speaker Kevin Stewart at the Peninsula Presbyterian Church Hall, Woody Point.

Kevin will be speaking on the topic "The Age of the Earth - A Flood of Evidence".

Christians often wonder why their witnessing is ineffective, citing objections like 'science has disproved the bible'. Yet the evidence for design in nature is widespread, pointing to a purposeful design and echoing the Bible's claim that God created. Another objection often raised is the problem of suffering, citing 'How can a loving, all powerful God allow pain and suffering'. An understanding of why death and suffering exist in the first place can turn this difficult question into an opportunity to share Christ.
