Gasgep Industries Pty Ltd was formed in 1998 after vast experience in the Gas Welding and Cutting Industry dating back to 1961. Stahl Engineering was acquired in an expansion program and has traded under the supervision of Mr Paul Crocitti since 1994. Mr Paul Crocitti, one of t
he current directors, commenced his apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering in 1987 with Sutton Tools including a post-apprenticeship course in Toolmaking (Press Tools) and an Associate Diploma in Mechanical Engineering at NMIT. His flexibility and experience has been the lynchpin in our innovative manufacturing ideas for both the Gas Industry products and all our other manufactured components. Stahl Engineering has been specifically positioned to support the manufacturing and repair functions of Gasgep Industries, with specialized equipment enabling Production CNC Milling and Turning. The 50+ years’ experience of the now retired Director, Mr Giovanni Crocitti, has left a legacy of excellence, skill and knowledge second-to-none in the Gas Welding and Cutting Industry, especially in his handling of repairs and understanding of older equipment. With experienced CNC technicians manning the CNC mills and lathes, manufacturing to customer specification is our specialty. We are fully capable of manufacturing repetition engineering components, parts and assemblies for various Australian industries.
3D PRINTING AND RAPID PROTOTYPING
The business has recently invested in a Fortus 250mc 3D printer to further enhance research and developmental capabilities. The machine enables us to rapidly bring ideas from 2D sketches into 3D reality and capable of printing in multiple colours. Using advanced software we can design and model to customer specification with limitless possibilities. The CAD modelling and rapid prototyping service is now fully functional and available to be utilised upon request. PRODUCTS

The company’s director Mr Paul Crocitti shows great interest in amateur motorsport, competing regularly on a state level and has many successful drives under his belt. Complex parts and systems integral to the car’s performance were designed and developed onsite and are a testament to the quality of componentry manufactured at Gasgep. His great passion for motorsport is reflected in the high calibre of the parts used across several vehicles.
