At the end of this year, Michael and I (Kate) will be transferring ownership of Inhouse Bathrooms! After 7 long successful years, we have decided it is time for us to hang up the tool belt, and move onto other ventures. There are many reasons behind our decision, but the main one is to do with our health and wellbeing.
In July this year I received the devastating news that I had breast cancer. It was a massive shock, and prompted us to reevaluate what is really important in life.
As you know, running a small business can be tiring, stressful and unrelenting. And we all know the detrimental effects stress can have on your health and wellbeing.
So, in an effort to prolong our life expectancy it is time for us to reduce stress and focus on health, family and a better work/life balance.
In the new year we will be focusing on our other business Inhouse Trade Centre (www.facebook.com/inhousetc.au). With years of experience, we’ve hand-picked the highest quality renovation products and materials, at the most affordable prices. We will be selling to the public, builders and tradies. We will, however, be taking a short break for the holidays, but will let you know when we are back up and running in 2025. So go and give our page .au a like and follow to stay up-to-date.
We’d also like to introduce Inhouse Bathrooms new owner, Cory Brinckman. Cory started his apprenticeship with Michael over ten years ago, and has worked his way up to his current role as Project Manager for Inhouse Bathrooms. Cory has shown us he has what it takes to manage multiple renovation projects, whilst upholding the best customer service. We know future customers of Inhouse Bathrooms will continue to receive the high standard of workmanship and attention to detail under Cory’s management.
We’d also like to take this opportunity to thank all our staff and contractors that have worked for us over the years. We could not have grown Inhouse Bathrooms to the level it is without your continued service and loyalty. We wish you all the best in your future endeavours.
And our clients! We cannot express enough gratefulness to you for your support and trade over the last 7 years.
Inhouse Bathrooms will be temporarily closed over the holiday period, to give us and Cory time to complete the transfer of ownership.
By the way, I am going well with my treatment for breast cancer. I have completed 17 rounds of chemotherapy, and have surgery booked in for next week. I will have more treatment next year, but am expected to make a full recovery and kick cancer’s butt!
