Jardon Group is delivering a full redevelopment of the practice fairway facility at Kew Golf Club, Kew.

Works include demolition of the existing teaching hut and open-air hitting bays, along with partial demolition and reconstruction of the northern carpark retaining walls.

In their place, Jardon is constructing 12 roofed external hitting bays, a dedicated indoor teaching space, and two indoor golf simulator bays — delivering a modern, year-round training facility designed in collaboration with Inarc Architecture.

Introducing Josh Heath | Commercial Manager

Josh Heath is Jardon’s Commercial Manager, bringing over ten years of experience across commercial, residential and mixed‑use developments. He specialises in contract administration, procurement and cost management, pairing practical construction insight with strong commercial discipline.

He has held senior commercial roles across both builder and client‑side environments, giving him a balanced understanding of delivery, feasibility, procurement and contract management.

Collaborative and solutions‑focused, Josh works closely with project teams, clients and subcontractors to maintain cost certainty and support strong commercial outcomes across Jardon’s portfolio.

A fantastic afternoon at the Jardon Oval Sponsors Day with the Newtown & Chilwell Football Netball Club — celebrating another year of our long-term partnership and the incredible community that surrounds this great club.

Guests and supporters were treated to inspiring insights and plenty of laughs from MC Cam Mooney, Coach Steve Johnson, AFL Barwon CEO Kate Patterson and a special appearance from Australian cyclist Simon Gerrans, sharing stories on leadership, resilience, teamwork and high performance.

What makes community clubs so special is the connections they create beyond the game. Through the network, we’ve built valued construction partnerships with businesses including Begley Group and Civelite — a true full-circle example of how strong community relationships can grow into meaningful professional collaborations.

Introducing Brandon Bird | Project Coordinator

Brandon Bird is a Project Coordinator with over a decade of construction and trades experience spanning high-rise residential, commercial, and renewable energy sectors. Originally qualified as an A-grade electrician, Brandon brings a trade-informed perspective to services coordination, procurement, and program tracking that sets him apart from his peers.

Before joining Jardon Group, Brandon held key roles at Hamilton Marino Builders, contributing to large-scale residential developments including the $145M Boyd Village, $65M Walmer Apartments, and $42M Park Ave South Melbourne. He has coordinated tower crane operations, complex façade systems, luxury apartment fitouts, and shared rooftop amenities across some of Melbourne’s most demanding builds.

Earlier in his career, Brandon led the delivery of solar farm projects ranging from 1MW to 7MW across regional New South Wales and Victoria, gaining hands-on experience in subcontractor management, OH&S compliance, and project closeout. Currently completing a Diploma of Building and Construction, Brandon is working towards a Project Manager role and is known for his calm under pressure, clear communication, and strong work ethic.

Big things are taking shape at Smiths Lane.

Together with Perks & Co, we’re building the Smiths Lane Hub community facility for Mirvac, and it’s all coming together beautifully. From the structure taking form to the finer details starting to emerge, this space is set to become a true community destination for residents to connect, relax and enjoy.

Great progress from the entire team on site — we can’t wait to share more as the project continues to come to life.
