Another job ready to go.

This little MJ Triton came in for a tipper conversion, giving an already handy ute a whole lot more functionality.

While we had it in the shed, we sorted a few other things too.

The old globe on the bullbar was pretty tired, so we knocked up a custom light bar mount and got rid of that.

Added a couple of rear work lights to the tray as well. With the new tipper, they'll be handy for lighting up the work area behind the ute when you're still working after dark.

Finished it off with some modern tail lights to clean up the back end.

Nothing too fancy. Just a bunch of practical mods to make a good little work ute even more useful.

Another one out the door and ready for work.

We are proud to support the Cooma Car Club and the Boys Under The Hood mental health initiative for their upcoming Wheels & Coffee morning.

It’s always a privilege to give back to our local automotive community. I had the pleasure of cutting a steel sign for the Boys Under The Hood crew, along with a few small awards made from sparkplugs and sprockets for the event. It’s a small contribution to a fantastic cause that brings people together and keeps important conversations going.

Great coffee, a sausage sizzle supporting the club, and plenty of classic cars, hot rods, and project builds on display.

I’ll be heading down with my custom VW minibike, so come on over, grab a snag, check out the rides, and say g'day!

Whether you're bringing your own project out of the shed or just want to admire the local classics and enjoy a morning out, we’d love to see you there!

After plenty of people asking... I've finally built a bigger one.

Introducing the XL Fire Pit.

-1 metre across the flats.
-1.2 metres point to point.

Built from the same 5mm steel as my standard fire pits, just with a lot more room for those bigger backyard gatherings.

Each fire pit is CNC cut and fabricated right here in Cooma.
They're built to be used, built to last, and can be customised with names, logos or your own design if you're after something a bit different.

Winter won't be around forever, so if you've been thinking about adding a fire pit before the cold disappears, now's the time.

Send me a message for pricing or to secure one before the next batch is gone.

This has to be one of my favourite things I've built.

I made this a few years ago from an old VW Beetle guard, a small 6.5hp engine, and an idea that probably sounded better in my head than it should have... but somehow it worked.

I was scrolling through old photos the other day and realised I'd never shared it here.

Looking back, it's still the sort of project I enjoy most. The oddball builds, the one-offs, the "I wonder if this could work?" ideas. That's the kind of fabrication that gets me excited to walk into the workshop.

If you've got an idea that's a little outside the box, I'd love to help bring it to life

288 hexagons cut into this custom panel for a customer's ute build.

Jobs like this are a good reminder of what CNC plasma cutting is capable of—accurate, repeatable, and turning an idea into a finished part. Ready for the customers ute headboard.

One of those Saturday jobs that came together nicely.

Fitted a stiff arm grab to this 1.7-tonne JCB mini excavator, making it a much more versatile machine for handling logs, rocks and general clean-up work.

Always enjoy working on equipment that heads straight back out to earn its keep.

The back of the ute has always been wasted space. Apart from collecting dust and the occasional creative message, it wasn't doing much.

So I finally put it to work.

This is a custom steel sign I designed and cut in-house, then mounted to the canopy. It shows off the business, but it's also a good example of what's possible with CNC plasma cutting.

It's only a temporary fit-up for now. The next step is powder coat and LED backlighting to finish it off properly. Because why not 😅

Cast iron repairs! A broken chair leg given a new lease on life. Bronze brazed, strengthened, cleaned up and re-textured.
With a light coat of paint you would never know it had been broken.

Another firepit ready for some cold winter nights. Custom cut-outs featuring scenes with a samba, a fallow and a trout. A good representation of the area we call home.
