🚨🚨 WORN-OUT WEDNESDAY 🚨🚨

THE OFFENDER: A cheaply cast aftermarket disc hub with a serious crack habit

This wasn’t one hub having a bad day. Multiple hubs across the same machine cracked and broke around the same time, with poor-quality casting believed to be behind the organised operation.

The farmer had taken the cheaper route, thinking he’d saved himself a few dollars. Then the hubs began falling apart and wrecking everything around them.

THE CHARGES:
🔧 Running an organised crack ring
🔧 Breaking apart while on the clock
🔧 Being poorly cast in a critical role
🔧 Causing extensive damage to surrounding machinery
🔧 Luring a farmer in with suspiciously attractive pricing
🔧 Turning a small saving into a very large invoice

When questioned, the offender reportedly said, “But look how much money I saved him?”
Mate, you wrecked his machine.

VERDICT: Guilty on all counts and sentenced to life in the scrap bin.
Cheap parts have a habit of becoming expensive problems 😭

🚨🚨 WORN-OUT WEDNESDAY 🚨🚨

THE OFFENDER: A disc found measuring just 12 inches 🤯

The offender should have been retired at somewhere between 16-17 inches but somehow continued working for another five, presumably by wearing a hi-vis vest, keeping its head down and hoping nobody brought out the tape measure.

At 12 inches, it’s no longer opening a clean seed furrow. The seed boot is dragging itself through the paddock while this bloke spins beside it pretending they’re a team.

THE CHARGES:

👉 Six inches of disc unaccounted for
👉 Impersonating functional seeding equipment
👉 Operating well beyond retirement age
👉 Aggravated loss of cutting depth and assault to the seedboot
👉 Loitering near a seed trench

When presented with the tape measure, the offender reportedly said, “I can explain.”
You’re 12 inches, mate. The time for explanations was five inches ago.

VERDICT: Guilty on all counts and sentenced to life in the scrap bin without the possibility of parole. 🚔

This week’s offender has officially cracked under pressure 👎

WANTED FOR:
✅ Rim cracking despite OEM reinforcing plates
✅ Cracked and split tyre
✅ Hard, brittle rubber
✅ Worn or missing square tyre lip
✅ Gaps opening between the tyre and disc
✅ Worn bearings and missing shims
✅ Distorted bearing housings
✅ Failing to track consistently beside the disc

This offender is considered armed with poor depth control and dangerous to your sowing results. Do not attempt another season with it.
