By focusing on heat dispersement, we have increased the

life span of our units so that we achieve 50,000+ hours before degradation. Often our clients take the opportunity to reconfigure their unit placements as LED quite often gives brighter, better light. Our latest innovation is to build our LED unit with an inbuilt motion sensor. This type of arrangement is ideal for underground carparks and low traffic areas such as storage facilities. By including motion sensors with our units we have a conservative estimate that you will triple the LED unit life span. Additionally, our units are IPART certified so our clients benefit from the government rebate. Taking lighting to new heights.

The lobby at One Shelley Street was still running on lighting that had been in place for over 20 years.

Similar to a lot of older installations, it wasn’t designed to be easily replaced. Tight access, ageing infrastructure, and a ceiling that didn’t exactly welcome change.

That’s where we came in.

Working alongside Keece Electrical, we created a product that respected the architecture, improved performance, and brought the whole environment up to today’s standard. We landed on 75 twin headed LED fittings, all tuneable white and fully controlled via Casambi. That gave us flexibility across the day, from crisp functional light through to a softer, more ambient feel when needed. Access was the biggest hurdle. These fittings weren’t easy to get to, and definitely not easy to install. So instead of fighting the building, we adapted to it.

Over the weekend, we brought in ab sail riggers.

And the result speaks for itself.

We’re delighted to announce the successful completion of the lighting installation at 11 York Street, a brand-new two-level campus forming part of a $20 million redevelopment project.

This project has been a remarkable collaboration with a forward-thinking client eager to integrate the latest advancements in lighting control technology. Our team delivered a bespoke solution that seamlessly blends performance, aesthetics, and intelligent control.

A true highlight of the installation is the theatre room, where custom-designed LED strips were discreetly integrated behind acoustic panels to create a warm and immersive ambience. Complementing this feature, precision linear luminaires provide balanced illumination while maintaining a refined architectural finish.

To elevate functionality, we implemented kinetic switches,completely wireless controls requiring no hardwiring, offering flexible placement and intuitive scene-setting across six unique lighting moods. The entire system operates through Casambi Bluetooth connectivity, enabling smart, wireless control and effortless customisation.

Adding a touch of theatre to the experience, the acoustic panels softly illuminate as occupants ascend the staircase, enhancing both comfort and spatial awareness.

The feedback from our client and from the new tenants who now occupy this exceptional space has been overwhelmingly positive. We’re proud to have contributed to a project that exemplifies innovation, craftsmanship, and the future of intelligent lighting.
