🔥 Our third-year Moulding Apprentice, Sam, completing today’s bottom pour with the support of tradesman Declan and an experienced team around him.

Hands-on experience is an important part of every apprenticeship. Regular opportunities like this allow our apprentices to continue strengthening their skills while learning from the knowledge and experience of the tradespeople beside them.

A great example of teamwork, practical training and knowledge being passed on to the next generation of our trade.

It All Starts With a Conversation 💬

We were proud to attend the Darling Downs Power Station Dalby Careers & Jobs Expo at PCYC Dalby, connecting with students, job seekers and community members to discuss future career opportunities.

A big thank you to the Dalby Chamber of Commerce for hosting such a valuable event and bringing local industry and the community together.

Pictured are Madeleine Page, Apprentice Pattern Maker, and Matthew Dunford, Casting Simulation Specialist, who enjoyed sharing their career journeys, industry insights and the many opportunities available within our organisation.

A highlight of the day was our 3D printer, which attracted plenty of interest and gave visitors a hands-on look at the innovative technology helping shape the future of manufacturing.

It was fantastic to see so many enthusiastic young people exploring their career options. We’re proud to support events that inspire the next generation of skilled workers because every career journey starts with a conversation.

Supporting the Next Generation of Tradespeople 🔧👷

White Industries was proud to welcome students from the Dalby State High School Trade Training Centre to our Dalby foundry.

Students were given a tour of our facility, providing a behind the scenes look at our manufacturing operations and the diverse career opportunities available in the foundry industry.

To support them on their trade journey, White Industries also donated a welding bag to every student. We hope these bags serve them well as they continue developing their skills.
