🚨Western Downs Weather Alert🚨

At 6am this morning Dalby was sitting at a whopping 0.4 Degrees, but apparently Mother Nature wasn't satisfied and decided it should feel like -4.2 Degrees.

It's so bloody cold:

❄️The cows are producing iced coffee.
❄️I watched a roo warm up before crossing the road.
❄️The frost was trying to claim squatters rights on my ute.
❄️Old mate down the street started his Hilux and the poor thing asked for another 10 mins in bed.

If your air conditioner is making noises that sound like its filing a workers comp claim, it might be time to get it checked.

Don't spend winter huddled around the toaster pretending it's a heater.

🌧️Rain came through!🌧️

Dalby got a decent drop and suddenly every bloke over 45 was out on the verandah sniffing the air like a cattle dog and saying "Reckon this'll soak in nice".

Now the cold mornings have rolled in. 🥶

The kind where:

- Your ni***es could cut glass
-The toilet seat feels illegal
-And getting out of the shower becomes a genuine mental battle

Half the town cranked their air con's onto heat for the first time since last winter and discovered that the unit is more cooked than a servo pie at 4:30 in the arvo.

If your system starts:

- Rattling
- Wheezing
- Blowing air colder than your Mrs. after an argument

Then you already know who to call.

We fix ducteds that gave up on life, split systems hanging on by a thread, weird noises, no heating, no airflow and all the "what the f*** was that?" situations.

Because sleeping in 6 hoodies and a flannelette doona cocoon isn't a long-term strategy.

Queensland weather right now is absolutely off its head.

Cold enough in the morning to need a hoodie.
Hot enough by smoko to regret wearing it.
Rain next week.
Humidity climbing.

And through all of it. Your aircons getting flogged harder then a public holiday servo worker.

The amount of systems out there barely hanging on is so unbelievable.

You hit the on button and the thing starts making noises you normally only hear from farm machinery with 19,000 hours on it.

Then comes that beautiful mouldy smell that instantly tells you:

"Yeah... this things absolutely nasty."

Mate, if your aircon smells like a wet dog sleeping on a carpet during a flood.... it might be time for a clean.

Some people reckon servicing is a scam until they see what comes out during a chemical clean.

The water alone looks worse then the bottom of a cattle trough.

Happy Mother's Day to all the mums who've ever said:

"I'm not doing everything around her."
.. while actively doing everything around there.

Mums are one minor inconvenience away from driving into the bush and starting a new life under a fake name, and honestly? Fair enough.

Imagine working a job where:

- Nobody listens to you
- Everyone needs something every 4 minutes
- People cry when you say no
- and your co-workers wipe their hands on the furniture

That's motherhood.

So, if you forgot Mother's Day this year, just know your survival now depends entirely on how good your apology is.

-the floor feels illegal

Today we pause, not as a business, but as Australians.

On this ANZAC Day, we take a moment to reflect on the courage, sacrifice, and mateship shown by the men and women who have served our country past and present.

Their willingness to stand up, to serve, and to put others before themselves is something that deserves more than just a moment of silence—it deserves our ongoing respect and gratitude.

Because of them, we’re able to live the lives we do today. To run businesses, raise families, and enjoy the freedoms we often take for granted.

No magic… just years of built-up dirt, dust and mould getting absolutely blasted out

🐰🥚 EASTER SUNDAY REALITY CHECK 🥚🐰

I have done my own research…and I am now 97% sure the Easter Bunny is operating without a licence.

Think about it.

Breaks into EVERY house in the country.Leaves behind goods with ZERO nutritional value.Disappears before questioning.

NO INVOICE. NO ABN. NO PAPER TRAIL.

And we’re all just… fine with that??

Meanwhile if I rock up, do a job, and don’t leave paperwork…the tax man is kicking my door in before I’ve even packed the tools away asking where his cut is.

But this rabbit?? Untouchable.

This system is BROKEN.

Also…who decided eggs were the currency here??Of all things??

Not cash.
Not tools.
Not fuel vouchers.

EGGS.

I’m not saying it’s a conspiracy…but I’m also not NOT saying it.

Anyway.

While the rabbit is out here committing organised confectionery crime…I’m out here doing things properly:

✔️ Show up
✔️ Fix the problem
✔️ Leave you better off than before
✔️ Pay my dues so I don’t get hunted down by the ATO

No magic tricks.
No midnight home invasions.
Just getting it sorted like a normal human.

🥶 Well… that was a rude little reality check this morning.

Rolled out of bed thinking it was just another day…
stepped outside and got absolutely humbled.

House felt like a bloody esky.
Toilet seat? Criminal.
Hands? Useless.

And you just know there were a few aircons out there this morning going:
“best I can do is slightly less cold air” 🤝

If you woke up and thought
“yeah nah… this isn’t ideal”
—that’s your warning.

Because this is just the first taste…
winter hasn’t even started carrying on yet.

If your system today:
❄️ Took ages to heat
❄️ Felt like a hair dryer on eco mode
❄️ Or just didn’t cut it

…it’s only going to get worse from here.
Now’s the time to sort it — not when it’s colder and everyone else is panic booking at the same time 😅

Went out to mow the lawn this morning…

Huge mistake.

Grass so long the mower looked at me like
“mate… this is a livestock situation.” 🌾

Pulled the cord 40 times.
Nearly blew a shoulder out.

Neighbour slowed down to ask if I was cutting hay.

By the time I finished I was sweating like a beer in the back of a ute in January.

Stumbled inside hoping the aircon would save me…

…and it’s blowing warm air like it’s personally trying to finish the job the sun started. ☀️
