The best wood heater isn't necessarily the biggest one. 🔥
It's the one that's right for your home.

Choosing the right wood heater is about more than heat output or looks. The right choice depends on your home size, insulation, efficiency needs, overnight burn time and lifestyle.

In our latest guide, we break down what to look for when choosing a wood heater for regional Victorian winters.

26/08/2026

You might have heard us on the radio or spotted us on TV this week.

Come see every model lit at one of our three showrooms:

The most expensive fireplace mistake is not buying the dear one. It is buying the wrong sized one.

Too small, and it runs flat out all winter and still loses to the draughts. Too big, and you are sweating in a room you cannot sit in with the thing turned down to nothing.

Ceiling height, insulation and window area change the answer more than floor size does. Measure your room, bring the numbers into any of our showrooms, and we will size it properly. Free, no booking needed.

Full sizing guide is on the website under Fireplace Guides.
