⚠️ WARNING: Air Fryers Can Crack Stone Benchtops
Just a quick heads-up for all the air fryer lovers out there 👩🍳✨
If you’re placing your air fryer directly on your stone benchtop, you might be risking more than you realise. The intense heat that vents out the back and bottom of many air fryer models can cause thermal shock, which may lead to cracks, burn marks, or permanent damage to stone surfaces like marble, granite, and reconstituted stone.
🧱 Stone benchtops don’t like sudden or prolonged heat!
Even though they’re tough, consistent high heat in one spot can make them expand unevenly—and that’s when cracks can happen.
✅ How to protect your benchtops:
• Always place your air fryer on a heat-proof mat or wooden chopping board
• Ensure there’s good airflow behind the appliance
• Avoid running it under overhead cabinets where heat gets trapped
• Never place hot trays or baskets directly on the stone
An air fryer is awesome—but cracked stone definitely isn’t. Just a friendly reminder to help others avoid an expensive repair! 💸😅
