We had the pleasure of using a great product from Talcyon in Singapore on a job recently. The hand held APRIS Acoustic Pulse Reflectometry instrument detects corrosion and holes in boiler tubes quickly and easily. We inspected 1130 tubes in one shift, identifying 2 with holes, saving the client a lot of time and money over conventional NDT methods.

Do you have a requirement for internal residual stress measurement on plates, train wheels, and thick structures? Our technique uses two orthogonal linearly polarized Shear Horizontal waves at 0 and 90 degrees to provide a birefringence measurement which is directly correlated with internal stress.

We recently performed some Medium Range EMAT Ultrasonic scans on insulated carbon steel pipe using the Innerspec Volta. The gear performed exceptionally well, pinpointing corrosion pits.
