JACS Engineering’s sandblasting and industrial coating division is ready to take on more work — from smaller components right through to large plant, trailers, structural steel and industrial equipment.

Our 18-metre sandblasting bay gives us the capacity to handle substantial jobs in-house, while our experienced team can take care of the full process from surface preparation through to industrial coating and 2 Pack finishes.

Some of our recent work has included a 6-tonne plant trailer and a 40 ft semi-trailer mounted spud bin, with blasting and coating completed to give the equipment a clean, durable finish ready for service.

We’re looking to work with businesses across transport, construction, mining, agriculture, marine, manufacturing and heavy industry that need reliable blasting and coating services for both new fabrication and refurbishment work.

Our JACS Engineering crane fleet has been keeping busy, handling everything from tight-access lifts through to larger site work.

Our 2.5-tonne crawler crane has been proving just how useful a compact crane can be. Small in size but with great lifting capacity, it is ideal for those hard-to-access areas where larger cranes simply can’t get in — making difficult lifts a whole lot easier.

Our 14-tonne Franna has also been flat out, taking on a wide variety of jobs including tiny homes, plant trailers, structural steel, machinery and plenty more. Big or small, it has been getting the job done.

At the same time, we are now in the final stages of completing the 10-year major inspection on our 20-tonne Franna. With the works nearly wrapped up, it is getting ready for a fresh coat of paint before heading back out to work.

With our crane fleet available for wet or dry hire, JACS Engineering can help with lifting requirements across a wide range of projects.

A few of the JACS Engineering crew have recently returned from a crusher shutdown on Groote Eylandt, assisting a parent company and working alongside a great team on site.

It was a fantastic opportunity to get away, take on some challenging shutdown work and work with some genuinely great people in a pretty unique part of Australia.

A big thanks to everyone involved for making the trip such a positive one. The boys enjoyed the experience and are already looking forward to the next one.

This follows the merger of Topcut Group, JACS Engineering and Maintenance, and AL & SM Richardson Engineering, bringing together three experienced businesses under one name.
