Monash Nova Rover

Monash Nova Rover We are an ambitious, passionate group of students with a keen interest in the exploration and development of space, along with the design of robotic systems.

We are a student team at Monash University designing and building Mars and lunar rovers for the URC and the ARC, in which robots compete in tasks such as scientific sample collection, autonomous traversal and equipment servicing. Our team consists of senior undergraduate students in the fields of mechatronics and aerospace engineering, computer science, astrobiology and planetary sciences. In earl

y 2017, we heard about the University Rover Challenge and were immediately enthralled. With the lack of space technology opportunities in Australia, we decided we would carve out our own path and form a team to compete in the 2018 competition. We are aware of many fellow students interested in the space industry, and aim to provide an outlet for their passion.
