Great to welcome the team from Lendlease to our Mile End Concrete Plant last month for a site tour and insight into our operations.

It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase our batching processes, quality control, sustainability initiatives, and the work our team is delivering across major South Australian projects.

We appreciate the engagement from the engineers and the chance to share knowledge, discuss innovation in concrete supply, and strengthen industry collaboration.

Last month, The Hallett team delivered 2,227m³ of high-quality concrete to the River Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Project over a 16-hour period - completing our largest ever continuous pour for the launch pad of one of the Tunnel Boring Machines.

A magnificent effort from everyone involved to deliver this safely and efficiently, particularly in challenging weather conditions.

A big thank you as well to the T2D team, a pleasure to work alongside on such a significant milestone Project.

The River Torrens to Darlington Project (T2D) is South Australia's largest infrastructure project and will create a non-stop South Road between Gawler and Old Noarlunga. Drivers will bypass 21 sets of traffic lights between the River Torrens and Darlington as they travel through two separate tunnels, connected by an open motorway.

Meet Nathan Page, one of our riggers at the Dome project who has been with Hallett Group for 2.5 years.

Nathan enjoys the dynamic nature of rigging work, especially on a project as unique and constantly evolving as the Dome.

Outside of Hallett, Nathan is also a well-known actor, with roles in shows including Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries and Underbelly.
