Tyron Brien is a mate to anyone who crosses his path. He is quickwitted, induisitive, hard working and has an endless supply of energy. In July 2024, Ty was diasgnoised with Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS).
GBS is a rare neurological disorder in which a persons immune system mistakenly attacked part of their peripheral nervous system. Ty spent months in ICU at at The Mater, Brisbane where he was intubated, paralysed and heavily sedated. His fiance Isabelle and their one year old daughter, Olivia were by his side. Ty is now in the next phase of his journey and is learning reuse and rebuilt his body.
It is a long road ahead but Ty is as determined as they come and has a massive tribe around him! Join us to raise some money to relieve some finiancal pressure off the family.
The event will include a live auction, silent auction and raffle.
