Creative Environmental Solutions
Geospatial Australia was founded in June 2016 by Trent Thompson, Aaron Colbran and Johnny Wood, with a desire to provide the highest quality geospatial services to government agencies and private companies in the agriculture, engineering and environmental fields in New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria and South Australia.
Geospatial Australia has established itself as a progressive and highly capable company in the fields of geophysical data acquisition & analysis, downhole inspection in open & cased boreholes, precision topographic survey, Acquisition of high quality high spatial resolution aerial ortho photography, spatial analysis of data via Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Remote sensing, Irrigation Infrastructure licencing (Water Management Act 2000), Geographic Information Systems Training.
One of several projects completed by Geospatial Australia in 2018 was the NSW Great Artesian Basin survey and Database development project for NSW Industry WATER. Over 220 GAB bore field surveys were conducted throughout the Basin in NSW. Field survey requirements included In-situ Water Quality data logging, Water Quality sampling in addition to some Isotope sample sites, baseline Flow Recession logging and baseline Static Pressure logging. This remarkable achievement is attributed to the intelligence of Founding Directors Trent Thompson, Aaron Colbran and Johnny Wood for collaborating each of their unique skillsets to provide unique solutions in a timely manner. Geospatial Australia would also like to acknowledge their staff Douglass Pappin, Georgel Ivan, Muhammad Salman and Ilina Ivan for their dedication and work ethic in helping complete the field works during the GAB project.
