Fleck Hub has become the centre of our business, bringing together everything from allocations, scheduling and timesheets through to pre-starts, dockets, asset management, maintenance, fuel tracking and reporting. The Role

We’re currently seeking an experienced Mobile Plant Mechanic to join our team in a full-time, field-based role across Sydney.

This position will see you working on a wide range of heavy mobile plant, carrying out:

* Diagnostics and fault finding
* Breakdown repairs (field service)
* Scheduled servicing and maintenance
* Hydraulic and electrical repairs
* Pre-start inspections and reporting
* Maintaining accurate service records

You’ll be working both independently and alongside our operations team to keep our fleet running efficiently and meeting client demands.

What We’re Looking For

* Proven experience working on heavy mobile plant (excavators, loaders, dozers, etc.)
* Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
* Solid understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems
* Ability to work unsupervised and manage your time effectively
* Commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship
* Good communication skills with both team members and clients

Required:

* Relevant trade qualification (e.g. Cert III Mobile Plant / Heavy Diesel / Automotive)
* Current driver’s licence

Excavator & Posi Track Operators – Fleck Group

Fleck Earthmoving, part of the Fleck Group, is a well-established civil contractor with over 37 years of industry experience. Since commencing operations in 1988, we have built a strong reputation for delivering reliable earthmoving and civil construction services across Sydney and regional NSW.

Due to continued growth and strong project demand, we are currently seeking experienced Excavator Operators and Skid Steer (Posi Track) Operators to join our team.

All equipment is late-model, well maintained, and Tier 1 compliant, with ongoing support from our internal service and maintenance team.

Available Positions
• Excavator Operators
• Skid Steer / Posi Track Operators

Key Requirements

Applicants must have:
• VOC and Statement of Attainment
• White Card (General Construction Induction)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in civil and detailed excavation
• Final trim experience (essential for Posi Track operators)
• Ability to work efficiently within civil construction environments
• Strong reliability, work ethic, and commitment to safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
