The crew in Warruwi have been sweating it out and have made significant progress. 👏

Partnering with local suppler Stedman Constructions, we've been able to place significant concrete floor slabs for the Ajurumu Store development in the past weeks. 🛠

Peter and Denzel joined the crew back in 2022 — and from day one, they’ve had their eyes (and hands!) on tiling. Fast forward to now, and these two are absolutely smashing it! 💪

From grouting splashbacks to laying down main floor tiles like pros, their progress has been incredible to watch. 🙌

📢 Yolngu Staff Embark on Vocational Training Journey

We’re proudly supporting 7 local Yolngu staff members as they begin their Certificate II in Housing Repairs and Maintenance, building practical skills for stronger, more self-sustaining communities.

Funded and supported by the Northern Territory Governments Aboriginal Responsive Skilling Grant (ARSG), all participants will be undertaking 7 core units + 4 electives focused on housing maintenance, with a combination of face-to-face learning and hands-on experience with current active community projects.

This program is a stepping stone towards long-term employment and self-reliance, led by community, for community.
