Seeking Experienced Project Manager/Estimator for HVAC Projects in Sydney

We are seeking a highly experienced project manager/estimator to join our team, working on various HVAC projects in and around Sydney. The successful candidate will be provided with a company car and will be responsible for managing various projects, including air conditioning and mechanical ventilation installations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct site measurements and prepare quotes as required
* Liaise with builders, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project deliverables are met
* Prepare and manage project costings, purchase orders, and other relevant documentation
* Coordinate with electricians and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
* Manage and coordinate projects to ensure timely and within-budget delivery

Requirements:

* Minimum 5 years of Australian HVAC experience (or equivalent)
* Proven experience in site measuring and quoting
* Computer literacy and proficiency in project management software
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Valid Australian work rights and residency

Desirable:

* Electrical experience to coordinate with mechanical works and ensure compliance with regulations
* Experience working on multi-residential, commercial fit-out, and residential ducted systems projects

💡 Stair Pressurisation Project - 1, 3 & 5 Hosking Place, Sydney

Precision Under Pressure.
Tyrenian Group successfully delivered a custom stair pressurisation upgrade at 1, 3 & 5 Hosking Place, ensuring safety, compliance, and performance across all levels.

The existing system was modified to meet updated standards by installing motorised volume control dampers behind each lobby relief wall louvre. This allows for precise airflow control in fire mode, optimising pressurisation when it’s needed most.
All controls were configured and supplied via a new essential services switchboard, fully integrated with the fire alarm panel on the ground floor - ensuring rapid activation and seamless coordination during emergencies.

Tyrenian Group is proud to showcase our latest luxury project at 2-4 Jaques Avenue, Bondi Beach! We teamed up with HOZ CONSTRUCTION, STM REALTY and Neil Whittington-Davis to deliver this beautiful Design & Construct project on time and within budget.

🚗 Basement Ventilation: Installed a 2-level car park mechanical ventilation system covering essential areas like the bin room, switch room, hot water plant, and fire pump room. Keeping things safe and efficient!

🌬️ Apartment Ventilation & Air Conditioning: Each apartment now has Daikin VRF multi-head bulkhead ducted units, delivering the perfect indoor climate. We also installed kitchen and bathroom exhaust ventilation to keep the airflow fresh and clean.

It was a peach to complete our project at Bondi Beach, and we’re thrilled to have worked with HOZ CONSTRUCTION, STM REALTY and Neil Whittington-Davis to create a luxury impact on these beautiful apartments.
