We've been up on the Gold Coast for an annual SLP Safe Load Program Conference, too our greatest surprise our hard work in the keeping the bulk fuel transport moving safely we have been recognised for an award of excellence Australia wide! This is a really huge award!
Our little team, we have together at the moment has been a lot of sweat and time away from our normal family routine - so were overwhelmed with this recognition! Ryan Burgess and Echuca Engineering

Coming up, we're off to the Gold Coast in Sept, to attend the annual Safe Load Program Conference!

Staying up to date with the latest developments in dangerous goods and bulk fuel vehicle compliance is an important part of the specialised work we provide at Echuca Engineering.

The conference gives us the opportunity to learn about industry updates, connect with other professionals and bring valuable knowledge back to our workshop and customers.

Had a broken roller come into the shop yesterday, out of a John Deere baler. None in the country, need it back ASAP. Machined up a sleeve from some hollow bar for a snug fit and fit it back together with the hot glue gun👍 Bob's your uncle we're back in business.

We have just finished a "challenging" job, a turbo off a tractor has come in with a broken stud that the client has tried to remove themselves with an ezy-out which broke off in the stud and then tried to weld a nut to what was left which also didn't work but work hardened the remaining bits.🙄 We were able to mill out the bits with a carbide end mill but the thread was too damaged and so we put in a thread insert that is staked in place once installed. Great success.

We’re constantly hanging it on fitters on this page, but tonight we’re all one in the engineering trade when we stand together to send our deepest condolences and love to the family and friends of a young apprentice fitter named Jack Bird of Shepparton who was found today in Lake Mulwala.
