This is what happens from poor workmanship. The system fails. Plaster base coat doesn’t stick well to painted surfaces. The painted surface needs to be etched and sometimes use bondcrete to help the adhesion.

These joins had been patched with the good fibre fuse joint tape, which hadn’t cracked. The base coat had just fallen off the painted surface.
Stay tuned for the proper way to patch and see the finished product done properly by a quality professional.

Little bathroom job. Tiles to ceiling all the way around so only required to do one coat on the walls. Used metal perfect angle for the square set, gives the tiles a nice crisp line to go to and also takes out some of the unevenness in the ceiling from being an older frame.
My work has my name on it so I take the time and effort to make sure it’s top quality and not rushed.
