One in three Adelaide homes contains asbestos materials.

Not sure if a material in your home or workplace contains asbestos? Only laboratory analysis can confirm whether asbestos is present.

Specialised Services can come to you and safely collect a small sample for NATA certified laboratory analysis. Or you can drop off a sample to our office at 2 De Laine Avenue, Edwardstown, Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm.

If you’re mid-demolition, renovating, or have damaged suspected asbestos material, we can arrange urgent 24-hour asbestos testing.

You’ll receive a written report confirming whether asbestos is present and, if so, what type. If asbestos is detected, we will also provide you with a free quotation for the safe removal.

🏠 Fire damaged demolition. Carefully stripped back and made safe.

Recently our team carried out a controlled demolition, removing all fire-affected materials while preserving key areas where required.

Works included full roof removal, internal strip-out of ceilings, walls and insulation, along with removal of damaged flooring, cabinetry and debris throughout the property.

Wet areas were carefully retained in line with scope, ensuring no unnecessary demolition.

As the home was only a couple of decades old, no asbestos was identified on this project.

Cleared and made safe, ready for other trades to commence works.

Protecting Australia’s oldest concert organ on mainland Australia during major gallery upgrade works.

Built in London between 1875 and 1877, the Hill & Son Grand Organ is a remarkable piece of South Australian history. Originally installed in the Adelaide Town Hall, it is now located within the Barossa Regional Gallery precinct in Tanunda, South Australia.

Major upgrade works are now underway at the Barossa Regional Gallery, with The Barossa Council’s broader project set to deliver a $18.5 million cultural hub and creative industries precinct for the Barossa community. The organ will remain an integral part of this future vision as the Barossa Creative Industries Centre comes to life.

To help protect this 150-year-old, 20-tonne cultural asset during the works, a multi-level engineered scaffold and fully sealed Monarflex enclosure were put in place around the organ, creating a dust-tight barrier with both positive and negative pressure zones.

Environmental controls include:

• H-Class HEPA units extracting dust away from the enclosure
• Continuous positive pressure to help prevent airborne contaminants from entering the enclosure
• Wi-Fi-enabled OmniGuard monitoring providing real-time alerts to help maintain enclosure integrity and controlled air conditions

Protecting heritage assets during construction takes careful planning, specialist controls and constant monitoring, and we’re proud to be helping protect this remarkable piece of South Australian history as works continue across the gallery precinct over the next year.

✅ Professional air monitoring conducted throughout works to ensure lead levels remained safe

✅ Full decontamination showers completed by all crew members upon completion of works each day
