Ditch the boring, old-school job ads. We're Activ Civil, the local legends keeping Central Queensland moving safely, and we’re looking for a design superstar to join our Emerald-based crew.
We’re not a giant, faceless corporation. We're a tight-knit team that values good work, good people, and getting home safely. We’re on the hunt for a creative and sharp Traffic Management Designer (TMD) who can see a complex project and think, "Challenge accepted."

>What You'll Actually Be Doing
This isn't just a "sit-in-the-corner-and-draw" gig. You'll be the brains behind our on-site safety and efficiency.
• Whipping up brilliant, compliant Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) and Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGSs) that are both safe and smart.
• Being the go-to expert for our on-site crews, making sure your plans work in the real world, not just on paper.
• Chatting with clients, councils, and project managers to understand their needs and get your awesome plans approved.
• Staying on top of all the rules (you know the ones—TMR, MUTCD, Austroads, and WHS) to keep our operations bulletproof.
• Solving logistical puzzles that make our projects run smoother than a brand-new ute.
>What You Bring to the Table (The Must-Haves)
• The all-important QLD TMR Traffic Management Design qualification. (This one's the deal-breaker!)
• Proven experience designing TMPs/TGSs for Queensland roads.
• Ninja-level skills with design software (such as Rapid Plan).
• A laser-eye for detail. You read "Stop" signs, and you also read the fine print.
• An awesome, "get-it-done" attitude and the ability to chat with anyone, from a traffic controller to a CEO.
-Bonus points if you:
• Have other tickets (like Traffic Controller).
• Have experience with projects in the Central Queensland region.
