Mechanically Minded General Labourer: To take up manual tasks and support operations in our friendly business.
We currently have a position vacant that would suit a mechanically minded person who would be responsible for dismantling light ag equipment. Experience is not required but a willingness to learn is essential. The role will include but is not limited to:
• Assist with general workshop operations
• Assist with assembly and dismantling operations of our agricultural machinery, such as screwing or bolting
• Undertake general labouring duties as required which may include cleaning and preparing working surfaces
• Assist our on-site mechanic and boilermaker
• Use power tools when needed
• Operate mobile plant and lifting equipment as and when requested (subject to licencing requirements)
• Follow instructions from supervisors to perform any other tasks as required

Requirements for all positions:
• Ability to work with limited supervision and also as an effective team member
• Ability to prioritise work and complete tasks in a timely manner
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus
• Sound knowledge of safe working practices and procedures in a workshop environment
• Previous experience in the agricultural industry is an asset, but not necessary
