JOLIMONT // After months of excavating through high-strength sandstone to reach the lower basement level, progress at Jolimont is now moving rapidly upward, with precast concrete columns and panels beginning to be lifted into place.
The basement works were particularly complex, requiring a hydrostatic basement slab design at the lower basement level, along with a meticulous waterproofing specification in response to the long-term groundwater table predictions provided by the project geotechnical consultant.
