More new social homes in the Pilbara

It’s great to see more new modular homes for social housing have been completed in the Pilbara town of Roebourne.

The new three-bedroom, two-bathroom homes have been built to silver Liveable Homes standard by Quality Builders in their Perth yard and transported on trucks to the Pilbara. They are now in the process of being offered to applicants from the public housing wait list.

Since our record $3.2 billion investment in social housing and homelessness measures, we’ve added more than 2,450 social homes, of which 111 are in the Pilbara region, with more than 1,000 social homes currently under contract or construction throughout Western Australia.
