Great to see the new Mackay Electric Vehicle and Energy Training Centre (MEVET) at CQU's Ooralea campus wrapped up and ready to go. STP delivered Civil, Hydraulic and Section J engineering on this one, working alongside Woollam and a strong group of local consultants.

The Centre will support training in light and heavy EV maintenance, EV charging infrastructure, and residential and commercial solar, a genuine investment in the skills Mackay will need in the years ahead.

Delivering a large scale industrial facility while keeping construction efficiency and long term performance front of mind was the focus for the team at Geebung Industrial Park Stage 2 in Brisbane.

STP Consultants worked alongside McNab to deliver Mechanical, Electrical and Fire engineering services across this newly completed facility, which combines a large scale warehouse with supporting office spaces.

Our scope included HVAC, power, lighting, communications and fire systems, with an emphasis on practical, well-coordinated design to support efficient construction and reliable day-to-day operation.

Construction is now complete, adding to STP's growing track record delivering quality engineering outcomes for industrial developments throughout Queensland.

STP’s Annual Trivia Night last week proved one thing, we are a competitive bunch!

The night came down to the wire, with two teams locked in a tie, forcing a dance off decider. Huge congrats to Leigh Stegeman, our Partner and Senior Civil/Structural Engineer, who pulled out the worm to clinch the win. Proof that our engineers bring plenty more than technical expertise.

We were also pleased to welcome partners along, giving everyone the chance to connect beyond the office and meet the people behind our team. Another great night delivered by the STP Social Club!

On site with the Hutchies team at the Aura Home + Life bulky goods retail centre on the Sunshine Coast, seeing great progress on this $80 million large-format retail development.

The scale of the project is really starting to come together, with facades taking shape and multiple tenancies progressing across the site. Always valuable to get out on site and work alongside the broader project team.

STP Consultants is proud to be delivering multi-disciplinary engineering services across Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Fire and ESD for this key retail precinct within the growing Aura community.

STP’s Biggest Morning Tea

Today, the STP team got behind Cancer Council’s Biggest Morning Tea, bringing our annual Loud Shirt Day to life. Cancer research deserves to be heard and our team showed up ready to make a statement with bold shirts and strong support.

Together, we raised an incredible $2,262 in support of cancer research, prevention and care. It was a meaningful opportunity to connect as a team while contributing to a cause that impacts so many.

Thank you to everyone who donated, participated and helped make the day such a success.
