KEEPING A LIVE SITE MOVING

Delivering infrastructure upgrades in occupied environments requires careful planning, strong coordination and a commitment to minimising disruption for residents.

The project involved the upgrade of critical below-ground hydraulic infrastructure, delivered under the leadership of Senior Project Manager Adam Lamanna and supported by a team of seven on site.

A special shout out to Leading Hand Tyson Cross, Apprentice Andrew Tsakalofas and Plumber Andrew Mann, whose professionalism and dedication throughout the project were reflected in the positive feedback received from residents.

The result is a more reliable hydraulic system and another successful upgrade delivered with the people who use the site front of mind.

Through careful planning and quality workmanship, the project was delivered in line with our commitment to putting people first, delivering everything with integrity, and finding a better way to achieve lasting outcomes.

LIVE SITE REPAIRS DONE RIGHT

When essential hydraulic infrastructure fails on a live site, the response needs to be fast, controlled and well planned.

Led by Project Manager Billy Davies, our plumbing team delivered urgent sewer repairs where persistent blockages were impacting an area being prepared for redevelopment.

The works involved night operations, controlled demolition, excavation around a live sewer main, and installation of a new shaft and lead-off section. The team also completed concrete reinstatement, leaving the area safe, clean and ready for the next stage of works.

It was a practical, well-coordinated response that restored the system and supported continued progress on site.

RAPID RESPONSE. AFTER HOURS DELIVERY.

When a sewer blockage on an authority sewer main caused wastewater to back up into a live facility, our Dandenong team responded immediately. Attending the site to diagnose the extent of the issue, quickly scheduling in work, and mobilising after hours to complete the works without disrupting daily operations

Led by Project Manager Bryan McNaughtan, with Leading Hand Jason Farry supporting on site, the scope included asbestos-controlled excavation, secure site establishment, wastewater management, sewer repairs, Authority sewer repairs, reinstatement, and final sterilisation, all carefully delivered overnight to maintain continuity for the facility.

In live environments, timing is critical. Working outside operational hours allowed the team to carry out urgent works safely, while removing impact on operations for the client.
