One year ago today we took a leap and purchased our workshop.

Looking back, it’s amazing to see just how far we’ve come. From setting up the workshop and expanding our services to welcoming new team members and taking on bigger projects, it’s certainly been a busy 12 months.

There’s still plenty on the to-do list (as anyone who’s ever owned a workshop knows!), but we’re proud of what we’ve achieved and excited for what’s still to come.

A huge thank you to our incredible team, our loyal customers, suppliers and friends for your ongoing support. We truly couldn’t do it without you.

Here’s to continuing to build, improve and keep delivering quality mechanical and power solutions for our community.

Rainy days don’t stop the workshop. 🌧⚙️

From gearbox rebuilds to cylinder head repairs and loader engine work, the team was making the most of yesterday’s weather.

Fresh from the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show 🚤🔥

Getting up close with the new Scania DI13 506M — a 13-litre marine engine pushing out 441kW (600hp) of Scandinavian engineering.
A serious bit of gear built for reliability, performance and efficiency on the water.

A few standout features:
• 13L inline 6-cylinder platform
• 441kW / 600hp
• Common rail fuel injection
• Scania EMS engine management system
• IMO Tier II compliant
• Built for heavy-duty marine applications

Always good seeing where marine technology is heading and catching up with people across the industry at SCIBS 2026.

The hybrid/electric setup on display was impressive too — plenty of conversations around the future of marine propulsion.

Spot Rob hanging out with the Scania crew this week! Cant wait to share more about what he’s been up to.

From 21–24 May, our Scania Power Solutions team will be at Stand PR7, showcasing the latest in electric technology alongside our most powerful diesel marine engine yet.

Whether you’re on the water or just love marine innovation, it’s well worth a visit.

See you there!

Two brand new MTU 12V2000 M72 engines commissioned into an offshore support vessel in Dampier by Rob and Tom.

There’s something pretty special about seeing twin powerplants like these sitting ready for work.

We’re looking forward to carrying out their first service next week and ensuring everything is performing exactly as it should from day one.

Preventative maintenance on vessels like this isn’t just routine — it’s critical.
