Another website product update // HZ Holden Kingswood Rear Sway Bar Upgrade - Another old Holden application added to the Griptech catalogue!

Our new 20mm rear sway bar upgrade suits Holden HZ Kingswood Sedans & Wagons originally fitted with a factory rear sway bar - Unlike our HQ-HZ bar which comes with a full fitting kit the including diff mounts, this is bolt-on upgrade for those factory fitted with a rear bar inc RTS vehicles, etc.

Designed as a direct replacement, the 20mm solid bar increases rear roll stiffness for improved street handling, stability and body control – while keeping the installation nice and simple.

And because we know how many of these cars have been modified over the last 40+ years, we've designed it to clear common Ford 9-inch diff conversions too. 👌

👀 Sneaky cameo on the Mighty Car Mods channel!

Chris was caught lurking in the background with a tape measure, helping out with the setup for this -powered .

We were onsite briefly to confirm sway bar fitment for the build, while also squeezing in a little R&D for our partners in crime at Tuff Mounts — nailing down a new conversion sway bar part number for future Barra-swapped VT-VZ Commodores and Monaros - Watch this space!

Always good when helping out with a cool build also turns into another new product. 🇦🇺🔧

"If I had to pick just one improvement, it would be the sway bar."

When this Mazda 6 Wagon owner upgraded his suspension, he also fitted lightweight Enkei RPF1 wheels, Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tyres and a D2 Racing big brake kit.

Yet after driving the completed package, there was one modification that stood above the rest...

"The sway bar improvement was incredible. It makes me question why Mazda released the vehicle with a 16mm rear bar.

If I had to choose just one upgrade, it would be the sway bar. It transformed the way the car drives, reduced the body roll dramatically and gave passengers a much more comfortable ride. The car felt like it was on rails in comparison."

A genuine 1000+ HP street car is never the result of one big part—it's the combination of hundreds of well-chosen components working together.

We're proud to have our GripTech Race-It Series Drag Bar playing a small part in a build of this calibre. If you look underneath, you'll spot the rear oversized bar helping keep all that power going where it belongs!

Massive congratulations to everyone involved in the project. We can't wait to see EZKOBR doing what it was built for on the street, at roll racing and at the drag strip.

Our Tour-It Series, 'High-Clearance' Sway Bars will help tie your 70 Series down tothe road with improved stability and on-road presence and feel - Especially with heavy and high loads and touring setups.
