Today we marked an exciting step forward for Gladstone, with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between our Gladstone aluminium sites and CQUniversity.
This partnership strengthens a long-term collaboration between industry and education, helping to build local capability and create practical pathways from study to meaningful careers, right here in Central Queensland.
By connecting students with real-world experience across our Gladstone operations, through pathways like cadetships, this agreement supports a stronger pipeline of local talent and helps ensure our region continues to grow, innovate and thrive.
For the Gladstone community, it means more opportunities for young people to develop skills locally, gain industry experience, and build their futures close to home.
