🚧 Project Spotlight: Mount Kynoch Water Treatment Plant Upgrade

Pructon successfully delivered critical upgrades to the Mount Kynoch Water Treatment Plant, expanding its capacity from 55ML/day to 79ML/day as part of Toowoomba Region's Water Vision 2050. The project involved installing lamella packs, replacing filter media and nozzles, upgrading backwash overflow launders and installing chemical dosing units, enhancing operational efficiency, reliability and future proofing the plant to support regional growth.

🚧 Project Spotlight: Coombabah Sewage Treatment Plant - Stage 6 Upgrade

Completed in 2022, Pructon contributed to the expansion of the Coombabah Sewage Treatment Plant, one of the Gold Coast’s largest wastewater facilities, servicing around 50% of the city’s sewage. Working alongside Acciona AU & NZ, Pructon delivered multiple upgrades to the Waste Activated Sludge (WAS) and Dewatering (DEW) sections, enhancing capacity and efficiency. The scope of work included the installation of centrifuges, dosing systems, pumps, pipework, and storage solutions, ensuring optimised wastewater treatment operations. A key achievement was the fabrication of 222.5 metres of stainless steel piping in Pructon’s Gladstone workshop.

Pructon successfully supplied and fabricated over 280 linear metres of stainless steel pipework for the Port Hinchinbrook STP upgrade, ensuring high-quality, corrosion-resistant components. Completed at our Gladstone workshop, the project met stringent standards and was delivered on time, supporting enhanced sewage treatment capacity in the region.
