This week is Women’s Health Week – an opportunity to put women’s health and wellbeing on the agenda.

Over the next five days, we’ll be focusing on five simple areas that can make a difference to our health:

FUEL – what we put into our bodies
MOVE – reducing the risks of a sedentary lifestyle
REST – making time for sleep, downtime and yourself
BREATHE – slowing down and creating a moment to pause
CONNECT – building healthy connections with others and ourselves
KNOW – understanding your health, knowing your risks and getting checked

Health doesn’t always require a major change. Sometimes it starts with one small decision to make yourself a priority.

The people we work beside every day are more than workmates. They’re mates, partners, parents, sons, daughters and important members of our communities.

This Su***de Prevention Month, McCosker Contracting is encouraging everyone to look out for the people around them.

Notice the changes. Make the call. Ask the question. Listen. Check in again.

You don’t need to have all the answers. Sometimes simply making the time for a genuine conversation can help someone take the next step towards support.

McCosker Contracting extends our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Robert “Bobby” Pailthorpe following his passing.

Bobby was one of those special people who simply got in and helped. His generosity with his time, his willingness to lend a hand and his genuine commitment to the Gladstone community made an incredible contribution over many years.

People like Bobby are the backbone of regional communities, and Gladstone is a better place because of everything he gave to it.

Our thoughts are with Bobby’s family, friends and everyone who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside him.

Thank you for everything you gave to our community, Bobby. You will be truly missed.

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to a great Gladstone man and much loved volunteer, Robert “Bobby” Pailthorpe.

Bobby was someone who always gave his time, energy and heart to helping others and making our community a better place. His contribution to Gladstone, his generosity and his willingness to lend a hand will be remembered and deeply missed by so many.

More than just a volunteer, Bobby was a mate to many, someone who brought warmth, friendship and a great sense of community wherever he went.

My thoughts are with Bobby’s family, friends and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him during this incredibly difficult time.

Thank you for everything, Bobby. Your service to our community will never be forgotten.
