Honeybadger Building Group is aware of an upcoming television segment concerning three residential building disputes involving our company.
We categorically reject any suggestion that our business operates dishonestly, unlawfully, or in a manner that could properly be described as “dodgy.”
Of the three matters referenced, two QBCC Home Warranty Insurance claims were formally assessed and rejected following review. One claim was paid under the Queensland Home Warranty Scheme. The Home Warranty Scheme is a statutory consumer protection mechanism and does not constitute a finding of fraud, criminal conduct, or dishonesty.
Residential construction projects are inherently complex and can involve differing interpretations regarding scope, variations, access to site, contractual obligations, and project timelines. Where disputes arise, they are appropriately addressed through established legal and regulatory processes.
Honeybadger Building Group has complied with all relevant regulatory requirements and has engaged with each matter through the proper channels. We remain committed to resolving disputes lawfully, professionally, and in accordance with contractual and statutory frameworks.
We respectfully request that public commentary be based on verified facts rather than edited media portrayals.
Our company continues to operate and deliver projects across Queensland.
